The first 48 hours were crucial... but almost five years later we have a healthy wee man.

We had never heard tell of platelets until I was in real need of them to help save my life.

I received 24 units of blood and blood products from over 70 donors during life-saving surgery.

I am so grateful for this service as it really helped me get my life back.
